Born in Lansing MI, and raised in the out skirts of Mercedes Tx. Big Loz started tattooing at the age of 18. After almost losing a decade of his life to the Texas Correctional system. He was blessed with a second chance, an opportunity! And vowed it wouldn't be in vain! It all started with a cousins idea to get a tattoo. With out any knowledge of how anything worked, but a very unique artistic incline he began his journey into what would turn out to be his life time Career. The beginning proved to be the most challenging. Experiencing loss after loss and even ending up homeless, purposefully searching for the dream! Despite having life's odds against him. After all these years working at shops around the Rio Grande Valley, and successfully managing two. He has created a brand new concept and image for the long frowned upon tattoo industry. Creating a new luxurious clean professional and friendly environment. Not just for the clients who are well experienced, but for the first time clients as well, even for those who feel they don't belong in this particular stigma surrounded setting. And lastly, but just as important, an environment equally catered for his artist! His facility 316 INK houses private quarters for each artist, in order to comfortably get your tattoo and help not feel any unwanted pressure that you may tend to encounter at the other open concept tattoo studios. Each office beautifully showcases the city of McAllen through floor to ceiling windows from a top level corporate office; adding to the unique experience Big Loz dreamt to deliver! As a company we strive to be the absolute best all around! From quality work to ensuring all of our customers are treated with the outmost respect, just as he dreamt.
